Technical Support Specialist
Job Description
Hybrid, multi-location role based in Harleysville, PA, providing phone and email support for wiring, commissioning, and troubleshooting Siemens electrical products.
Responsibilities
- Interact with customers through Siebel ASSIST, a CRM tool, handling inquiries in a first-in, first-out queue with a target two-hour response window.
- Field questions from professionals in the electrical controls and power distribution sectors, including contractors, integrators, electricians, distributors, and internal Siemens teams.
- Multitask and switch between supporting different products throughout the day in a fast-paced environment.
- Interpret operations and maintenance manuals to provide wiring, commissioning, and troubleshooting guidance to customers by phone or email.
- Document conversations accurately and concisely in Siebel ASSIST, summarizing interactions in written form.
- Drive performance through customer survey scores, knowledge sharing, teamwork, and achievement of team and organizational goals.
- Some after-hours work may be required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or 1+ years of electrical power distribution experience in lieu of a degree.
- Proficiency with circuit breakers and switches (residential and power), load centers, panelboards, switchboards, busways, meter configurations, and protocols such as Modbus, Profinet, and Ethernet IP.
- 1+ years of experience in customer support within related fields: industrial, construction, mechanical, or electrical.
- Must be eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship now or in the future.
