Job Description
CareTria offers a stable onsite role in Charlestown, Indiana, with a focused, end-user facing technical environment. This position operates 100% onsite on a Monday through Friday schedule from 11:30 am to 8:00 pm ET, and offers an hourly compensation range of $23 to $33. You’ll work directly with hardware, software, and network-related concerns to diagnose and implement practical solutions, backed by a comprehensive benefits package that supports your health, finances, and career growth.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure new hardware and software, and convert systems as needed.
- Recommend improvements to enhance computer systems and overall performance.
- Install and configure core components such as CPU, memory, motherboard, and peripherals, either individually or in combination.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software anomalies across devices like computers and printers.
- Assist users in resolving computer related problems, whether hardware or software related.
- Provide training to staff on new software and hardware deployments.
- Maintain up-to-date technical journals or manuals and participate in vendor seminars for new hardware and software.
- Keep inventories of computer hardware and software and coordinate asset management with the finance team.
- Coordinate cable installations, hub/switch updates, and the deployment of new workstations.
- Assist with user account management in the network operating system (add, modify, delete).
- Support the company phone system and assist with IP Phone Services and the Corporate Directory.
- Provide network support and assist with wireless environment coverage across the organization.
- Support setup of Wi-Fi on laptops, RF guns, and desktops; assist with VPN user configurations and access.
- Help configure VPN on laptops and user accounts as needed.
Requirements
- High School diploma and/or technical degree or certification.
- Minimum of four years of IT related work experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet response deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proven experience with computer systems (desktops/laptops), printers, and mobile devices.
- Solid knowledge of Anti-Virus solutions, Exchange, LAN environments, and Active Directory.
- Experience with Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 365.
