Telecom Helpdesk Technician (Level 1)
Job Description
Entry-level Telecom Helpdesk Technician (Level 1) based in Stuart, FL, supporting Hosted VoIP services for small and mid-sized business clients; this is an on-site role with no remote work option.
Responsibilities
- Open and track service tickets for change requests and other technical issues reported by phone or email, providing the required technical support to resolve them.
- When issues cannot be resolved by the technician alone, determine the appropriate action plan and proceed to implement it.
- Set up and configure new virtual VoIP systems and related peripheral equipment; visit customer locations regionally to assist with new deployments.
- Coordinate with team members and third party vendors such as telecommunications carriers, ISPs, and software vendors to resolve issues.
- Deliver support promptly with a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
Requirements
- Natural technical aptitude with a passion for technology.
- Excellent phone skills and customer service soft skills.
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities.
- Ability to learn quickly and retain information.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Residence in Martin or St. Lucie County, Florida.
- Successful completion of a thorough background screening and pre-employment drug test.
