Job Description

Provide technical support, training, and field assistance for Quincy rotary and reciprocating compressed air products.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver technical assistance and product expertise for Quincy rotary and reciprocating systems
  • Support Field Service Technicians, distributors, and end users with maintenance, service, and training
  • Help customers find the technical information needed to support Quincy Compressor performance
  • Keep technical knowledge current on new products, modifications, and warranty policies
  • Maintain up-to-date product documentation for the Technical Service Department
  • Produce daily reports of field problems received by phone and email
  • Provide training for service technicians and distributors in service school and in the field when needed
  • Provide training for internal teams and the distribution network
  • Complete special projects or assignments aligned with department and division goals
  • Administer remote monitoring platform ICONS
  • Accompany service technicians to customer sites to perform air audits
  • Compile field data and construct reports in a timely manner
  • Assist with Industrial Air Piping design and modifications
  • Perform Quality Air Auditing
  • Perform Compressor Power Consumption Audits
  • Troubleshoot networking and connectivity for compressed air equipment

Requirements

  • High School Degree required; Mechanical or Civil Engineering degree preferred
  • 2 years’ experience in a relevant role preferred
  • Knowledge of compressed air products and services
  • Technical expertise and strong problem-solving ability
  • Excellent phone skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • CAD experience preferred but not required
  • Able to move about the facility (standing, walking) and occasionally be on customer sites depending on location
  • Travel required domestically and internationally, up to 40% maybe required
