Auto Parts Sales & Technical Support Specialist

Diesel Conversion Specialists in Hutchinson, Minnesota, is seeking an Auto Parts Sales & Technical Support Specialist to join the onsite team. In this role, you will be on the frontline assisting customers with product questions, processing orders, and applying your automotive knowledge to support diesel engine swap parts.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to customers by answering all calls according to company policy, verifying that information shared with customers is accurate, and following up in a timely manner
• Process exchanges and returns for credit in a friendly manner, in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Address and resolve customer complaints in a professional, friendly manner
• Collaborate with other teams that interact with customers to ensure a seamless experience
• Document customer interactions in QuickBooks, including the details needed for others to understand next steps on each project

Requirements

• Automotive mechanical aptitude to relate to customers and as a foundation to learn the parts catalog
• Clear, honest, and professional written and verbal communication
• Customer-care attitude and a mindset that customer success drives company success
• Agility to support a diverse range of projects, from TDI® or Cummins® installations to do-it-yourselfers and professional shops
• Team mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• High attention to detail with consistent accuracy
• Proven experience working within a team environment
• Commitment to delivering professional, customer-focused service and support
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues
• Automotive mechanical aptitude, including the ability to understand, diagnose, and work with vehicle systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning additional software tools
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred
