Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to support a hospital environment on-site in Orange, California. This contract role runs through September 1, 2026 and focuses on hands-on Active Directory (AD) and Microsoft 365 (M365) domain migration support, delivering rapid assistance to end users, including clinical staff, during migration waves.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on, on-site support for an Active Directory (AD) and Microsoft 365 (M365) domain migration effort.
  • Operate within a Command Center / cutover support model to ensure end users receive immediate assistance during migration waves.
  • Troubleshoot login/authentication issues.
  • Troubleshoot device access problems.
  • Troubleshoot application sign-in nuances (old vs. new credentials).
  • Troubleshoot mobile device re-enrollment workflows.
  • Follow evolving documentation and escalation paths to resolve issues.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of on-site, hands-on Tier II IT Help Desk / Desktop Support / Field Services experience.
  • 4+ years supporting a Windows enterprise environment.
  • 4+ years using an enterprise ticketing system.
  • Experience in enterprise environments with large user and device populations.
  • Active Directory experience (user account support, login troubleshooting).
  • Flu shot compliance and willingness to wear a mask during flu season, as required.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands described for the role.

Job Description

Compensation

USD 25.00 per hour

Work Location

In person on-site in Orange, CA

Shifts

  • Day shift: 6:30am-3:00pm PST, Monday-Friday (will only apply to the last 3 weeks of the project)
  • Swing shift: 2:30pm-11:00pm PST, Saturday-Wednesday (will only apply to the last 3 weeks of the project)
