Job Description

TEKsystems is seeking a PC Deployment and IT Desktop Support Technician for an on-site project focused on upgrading a healthcare system’s technology across the Cleveland Area. This contract-to-hire role includes replacing older PCs and deploying new devices running Windows 11 in Brook Park, OH on 1st shift.

Role Overview

In this fully onsite position, you will support end users during technology refresh activities, troubleshoot software and hardware incidents, and help restore service quickly. Work will include device swaps, Windows 11 deployments, and support coverage for logged IT incidents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents, including operating systems such as Windows and Mac, and troubleshooting across a range of software applications
  • Swap out laptops and desktops and deploy Windows 11 to new devices
  • Assist users with any logged IT-related incidents when called upon
  • Take ownership of issues by performing problem analysis, implementing temporary or permanent fixes, and escalating to other support teams when needed
  • Accurately record, update, and document requests using the IT service desk system
  • Install and configure new IT equipment
  • Resolve incidents and support upgrades across different types of software and hardware
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving printers, copiers, and scanners
  • Maintain a first-class customer service approach, ensuring customers are handled efficiently and appropriately

Pay Rate

The pay range for this position is $16.00 to $17.00 per hour. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment.
