Forklift Yard, Facilities & Tech Support Position

The Lynnwood Motoplex & Marine team is seeking a full-time Forklift Yard, Facilities & Tech Support team member in Lynnwood, WA (onsite). This role supports the service department and technicians by coordinating yard staging, handling crated units, assisting with light facility maintenance, and completing daily operational tasks.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the service department each day, including unlocking and locking gates and moving shop trucks in and out.
• Operate the forklift to stage boats for technicians and detailing, relocate units into the lot after drop-off, move items to completion areas after repairs, and pull units out for customer pickup.
• Maintain organization of sales boats and crates by keeping them put away and properly arranged.
• Stage motorcycles for technicians by moving units from the drop-off area into the workshop.
• Empty shop trash cans as needed, including daily tasks.
• Check in regularly with the Service Manager and Advisors regarding staging needs, drop-offs, pickups, and any additional tasks.
• Check in all crated units, inspect for damages, document findings, take pictures, and report results to the manager and warranty clerk.
• Assist with loading and unloading customer vehicles as required.
• Refuel gas caddies and propane tanks.
• Assist technicians with momentary tasks as needed.
• Perform occasional pick-up and delivery runs.
• Keep oil, filter, antifreeze, fuel recycling, and bulk areas clean, and monitor those areas for pickup when full.
• Place new oil barrels in the rack as needed.
• Clean and organize the service department and service lot, including sweeping and weeding.
• Sweep shop floors and clean shop sinks.
• Complete regular deep cleaning in technician areas, including under lifts, work benches, and shelves.
• Organize shop supplies (such as cleaners and lubes).
• Clean and organize service shop equipment, including tire machines and a balancer.
• Dispose of used batteries and tires and organize and clean the battery station.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Clean drivers record
• Agility to move both motorcycles and boats within the yard
• Forklift yard or equivalent experience: 2 years (Required)

Compensation and Schedule

This is a full-time position offering $19 to $22 per hour. Onsite work is located in Lynnwood, WA.
