Help Desk Technician
Job Description
Help Desk Technician role at Next Level IT in Columbia, MO, with remote work possible and travel to client sites when needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist business clients with troubleshooting IT issues
- Install software and hardware
- Design solutions to meet client goals
- Recommend upgrades to keep client environments in a good, secure, compliant, working order
- Travel to client sites for installations and troubleshooting when remote work is not possible
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-4 years working in a business IT environment
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server administration
- Experience with Microsoft Windows desktop operating system troubleshooting and configuration
- Experience with Office 365 Exchange, OneDrive, and Microsoft Azure solutions
- Experience with remote monitoring and remediation software, including remote support tools
- Experience with CRM and ticketing systems for client billing and time tracking
- Ability to prioritize assigned tasks and responsibilities with minimal supervision
- Ability to demonstrate deadline and detail-oriented project and ticket completion
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills are required to correctly assess and plan remediation steps for issues
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required to communicate with our team and clients
- Ability to follow written process and outlined procedures with a high degree of accuracy repeatedly
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and outlook when interacting with others and when completing assigned projects and tasks
- Must live within an hour radius of Columbia, MO to respond for onsite work when it is required
