Job Description

Help Desk Technician role at Next Level IT in Columbia, MO, with remote work possible and travel to client sites when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Assist business clients with troubleshooting IT issues
  • Install software and hardware
  • Design solutions to meet client goals
  • Recommend upgrades to keep client environments in a good, secure, compliant, working order
  • Travel to client sites for installations and troubleshooting when remote work is not possible

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-4 years working in a business IT environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Server administration
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows desktop operating system troubleshooting and configuration
  • Experience with Office 365 Exchange, OneDrive, and Microsoft Azure solutions
  • Experience with remote monitoring and remediation software, including remote support tools
  • Experience with CRM and ticketing systems for client billing and time tracking
  • Ability to prioritize assigned tasks and responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Ability to demonstrate deadline and detail-oriented project and ticket completion
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills are required to correctly assess and plan remediation steps for issues
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required to communicate with our team and clients
  • Ability to follow written process and outlined procedures with a high degree of accuracy repeatedly
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude and outlook when interacting with others and when completing assigned projects and tasks
  • Must live within an hour radius of Columbia, MO to respond for onsite work when it is required
