Help Desk Technician
Job Description
Onsite Help Desk Technician and IT consultant supporting an MSP client in the Redmond and Seattle, WA area. This three month contract centers on end-user device support and ticket handling, with potential for continuation or direct hire.
Responsibilities
- Deploy, support, and troubleshoot end-user devices including laptops, workstations, printers, tablets, phones, and audio/video services.
- Manage and resolve help desk tickets in a timely manner.
- Oversee asset management, standardize PC imaging, and perform new PC setup.
- Deploy workstations and install applications on client systems, servers, and lab environments as needed.
- Coordinate with vendors for troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Create user accounts in applications following established administration procedures.
- Deliver internal customer support with appropriate tact and prioritization.
- Actively participate in team standups and regular business meetings.
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders and document work in the IT ticketing system.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or technical institute degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting IT systems and end users.
- Strong problem solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with operating in a medium to large Active Directory domain environment.
- Biotech/Pharma industry experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience with basic server and networking support and troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of cloud services, such as Amazon Web Services, is preferred.

Engagement Details

Location and Onsite Requirements
Work is in person at the Redmond, WA area. Candidates must be able to commute to the specified location.
