HVAC β Technical Support/Service Representative
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Offer post-sale technical support and troubleshooting to installing contractors via phone, email, and on-site visits.
- Provide guidance and subject-matter expertise to internal sales and support staff.
- Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and manufacturers' specifications.
- Document support calls for internal reference and escalate to manufacturers when needed.
- Assist with warranty claims and product returns, ensuring precise documentation and timely resolution.
- Perform routine maintenance, renovations, and service of HVAC systems across PSC facilities.
- Support profitability by implementing the scratch-and-dent program.
- Maintain professionalism and high-quality customer service in every interaction.
Requirements
- HVAC certification and valid state licensure as applicable.
- A minimum of 10 years hands-on HVAC installation, service, and troubleshooting experience.
- Solid understanding of HVAC equipment, controls, and refrigeration systems.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into plain language.
- Customer-focused approach aimed at helping contractors succeed.
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs to provide on-site support on roofs and in basements as required.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to travel locally.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in HVAC distribution or sales support is a plus.
- EPA 608 certification.
- Hydronic and Plumbing knowledge or experience is a plus.
