Infra Tech Support Practitioner

Experis offers an onsite contract opportunity in Los Angeles, CA for an Infra Tech Support Practitioner. This role provides a competitive hourly range of $50 - $56 and the chance to work hands-on with AWS administration and infrastructure support. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to ongoing operational improvements, and have opportunities to mentor teammates while shaping reliability initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage AWS services including EC2, IAM, Lambda, SQS, SNS, and CloudWatch
• Oversee provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of cloud resources
• Support application hosting environments comprising web, application, and database servers
• Manage DNS setup, IIS configuration, file servers (DFS), and Windows servers
• Implement monitoring solutions and proactively identify performance bottlenecks
• Drive continuous improvement to prevent incidents and enhance system reliability
• Manage access controls (IAM roles, AD groups) and enforce security policies
• Oversee firewall, WAF, SSL certificates, and network security configurations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and drive improvements
• Lead and mentor support team members and ensure effective task execution
• Contribute to operational strategy and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• AWS Administration as the primary required skill
• 7+ years of experience in AWS Administration
• Background aligned with IT, cloud computing, or systems administration
• AWS certifications or equivalent training
