Job Description
Experis offers an onsite contract opportunity in Los Angeles, CA for an Infra Tech Support Practitioner. This role provides a competitive hourly range of $50 - $56 and the chance to work hands-on with AWS administration and infrastructure support. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to ongoing operational improvements, and have opportunities to mentor teammates while shaping reliability initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Administer and manage AWS services including EC2, IAM, Lambda, SQS, SNS, and CloudWatch
- Oversee provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of cloud resources
- Support application hosting environments comprising web, application, and database servers
- Manage DNS setup, IIS configuration, file servers (DFS), and Windows servers
- Implement monitoring solutions and proactively identify performance bottlenecks
- Drive continuous improvement to prevent incidents and enhance system reliability
- Manage access controls (IAM roles, AD groups) and enforce security policies
- Oversee firewall, WAF, SSL certificates, and network security configurations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and drive improvements
- Lead and mentor support team members and ensure effective task execution
- Contribute to operational strategy and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- AWS Administration as the primary required skill
- 7+ years of experience in AWS Administration
- Background aligned with IT, cloud computing, or systems administration
- AWS certifications or equivalent training
