IT Desktop Support Analyst

UF Health is seeking an onsite IT Desktop Support Analyst to support end users across desktop environments in Gainesville, FL. In this role, you will troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues to help minimize downtime while keeping desktop systems secure and running efficiently.

The position focuses on hands-on desktop support, routine maintenance, and collaboration with IT teams when issues require deeper investigation. You will also assist with user account and access management in line with organizational policies and maintain up-to-date antivirus protection.

What you will do

• Provide technical support to end users by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, peripherals, and software applications.
• Help users resolve technical problems and provide guidance on IT best practices.
• Manage user accounts and system access according to organizational policies.
• Maintain system security by monitoring and updating antivirus software.
• Document support activities and collaborate with IT teams to resolve complex issues.
• Perform routine system maintenance to support optimal desktop performance.

What you bring

• College graduate with an AA or AS degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
• 1+ years of experience providing technical support for desktop systems.
• Knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
• Experience managing user accounts and access rights.
• Ability to document support activities and collaborate with IT teams.
• Familiarity with antivirus software and system maintenance.
• Knowledge of desktop hardware, software, and peripherals in a networked environment (required).
• Familiarity with healthcare information systems (preferred).
• Industry-standard technical certifications including A+, Microsoft, Asset Management, and Apple (required).
• Warehouse or supply chain experience.

• Location: Gainesville, FL (onsite)
• Work style: Onsite with some travel needs to other UF facilities
• Schedule: Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
