Job Description

Evergreen Family Health Group offers an on site IT Help Desk role in Williston, VT. This entry level position provides first line technical support to employees and providers, assisting with hardware, software, printers, phones, user accounts, and other technology issues to keep systems reliable for patient care and daily operations. You will collaborate with staff to troubleshoot, deploy, and maintain equipment, delivering day-to-day technology support. The position is onsite with occasional travel between Evergreen Family Health locations, and offers a pay range of $23.00 to $25.00 per hour.

Position Summary

Evergreen Family Health is seeking an IT Support team member to provide first-line technical support for employees and providers across our organization. This position assists with computer hardware, software, printers, phones, user accounts, and other technology-related issues while helping ensure reliable technology systems that support patient care and daily business operations. The IT Support role works closely with staff to troubleshoot technical issues, deploy and maintain equipment, and provide day-to-day support for the technology needs of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to employees in person, by phone, and remotely.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, printer, phone, and connectivity issues.
  • Set up, configure, and deploy computers, monitors, printers, and other technology equipment.
  • Assist with user account management, password resets, and access requests.
  • Document support requests and maintain accurate records of work performed.
  • Support Microsoft 365 applications and related technologies.
  • Assist with routine system maintenance, updates, and equipment inventory.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff as appropriate.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of patient and business information in accordance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
  • Travel occasionally between Evergreen Family Health locations to provide on-site support.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and troubleshoot technical issues.
