RSN Technologies is hiring for a full-time, on-site IT HelpDesk Technician I in Centerville, UT. This role offers a clear path to growth into areas such as systems, networking, software, cybersecurity, or operations management.

Responsibilities

  • Image and provision new computer hardware
  • Engage with Helpdesk systems, endpoint management tools, and the documentation platform to learn and use them effectively
  • Receive devices from customers that may require minor hardware repair and re-imaging
  • Answer support calls and manage call center escalations
  • Troubleshoot Windows 10 and Windows 11 desktops and laptops
  • Resolve issues in Microsoft Office applications
  • Assist users with email setup, desktop shortcuts, and printers
  • Collaborate with the acquisition team during onboarding of new customers and locations
  • Conduct basic network troubleshooting
  • Support equipment stock and inventory as needed

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems, Microsoft Office, Windows Server, and security practices
  • At least 1 year of experience as an IT help desk technician or equivalent demonstrated skills
  • Hands-on troubleshooting experience with Windows 10 and 11, MS Office, and related applications
  • Understanding of basic network protocols and LAN/WAN environments, including routing, switching, VPN, and physical wiring
  • Strong PC and hardware troubleshooting abilities
  • Solid knowledge of physical network connectivity, hardware components, PCs, laptops, network cards, and RAM
  • Ability to work well with teammates
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Self-directed with minimal supervision
  • Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Patience when assisting customers remotely who may not be computer-savvy
