IT Support

Canvas II, LLC. is seeking an IT Support contractor for onsite work at Eglin AFB, FL. This role provides information technology support and technical assistance for Operational Information Management (IM) and RW programs to help ensure reliable operation of information systems supporting the AFRL/RW research and development mission.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and assistance in support of Operational Information Management (IM) and RW programs to ensure effective, timely, and optimal operation of information systems that support the R&D mission of AFRL/RW.
• Perform information management and information technology activities, including automation support, system administration, computer programming, configuration management, training, telecommunications, help desk, operations, customer support, and administrative support.
• Deliver technical engineering and specialized networking and data communications services, including support activities tied to system operations and information technology needs across RW.
• Provide support across RW for activities currently accomplished by subject matter experts (S&Es) as additional duties, or where gaps in capabilities are requested by S&Es throughout RW.
• Support customer-facing and enterprise-focused functions such as application development, planning, network implementation, systems integration, communication support, and computer-communication maintenance.
• Perform ITE asset management and support Secure and Non-secure VTC and meeting support, along with IA, TCO duties, and CSA/FSA responsibilities as directed by AFGM2018-17-02, EITM, and successor guidance.

Required Qualifications

• All positions require a secret clearance.
• At least five (5) contractors will require TS clearances to support the Kinetic Kill Vehicle Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation (KHILS) Facility, Controlled Secure Workspace (CSW) facilities, and the JWICS.
• Of the five TS positions, two (2) shall require SCI billets/access to support the CSW.
• Ensure adequate resources are dedicated to satisfy the requirements of work assignments.
• Ensure all personnel supporting Secure VTC (SVTC) systems are certified and complete training (Level 1 and 2), and continuing education required IAW the current Defense Information Systems Network Video Services facilitator certification policy.
• Ensure all IT/IM personnel are certified and complete training and continuing education required IAW DoD 8570.01M and subsequent successor guidance and implementation policies.
• Personnel will be appointed CSAs/FSAs for DREN and Enclave systems.
