IT Support Specialist
Job Description
EFuel is looking for an IT Support Specialist to handle day-to-day technology needs and help keep the company’s IT systems running smoothly. This onsite role supports employees across multiple locations, addressing hardware, software, network, and account access issues with a focus on Microsoft 365 administration and secure access.
Based in West Sacramento, the position includes light travel to sites in Northern California and supports a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
What you’ll do
- Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other company equipment.
- Monitor and respond to help desk requests, resolving technical issues promptly.
- Support Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
- Travel to different sites in Northern California as needed.
- Assist users with password resets, multifactor authentication, and account-access issues.
- Troubleshoot VPN, Wi-Fi, LAN, and general network connectivity problems.
- Create, modify, and disable user accounts in Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Manage user permissions, security groups, file access, and distribution groups.
- Assist with Group Policy, system configurations, software updates, and patching.
- Administer Exchange Online mailboxes, licenses, and user provisioning.
- Support Intune, endpoint management, and hybrid Microsoft environments.
- Help with cybersecurity efforts, including phishing awareness and MFA deployment.
- Identify and report potential security incidents.
- Configure, deploy, maintain, and track company-issued devices.
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding from an IT perspective.
- Maintain accurate IT inventory and equipment-assignment records.
- Coordinate with vendors for escalated technical issues and third-party systems.
- Maintain clear documentation for IT procedures, systems, and troubleshooting steps.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field (preferred); equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
- Two to five years of IT support or systems administration experience preferred.
- Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Experience with Intune or another endpoint-management platform.
- Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems.
- Apple Business Manager experience preferred.
- Experience or working knowledge of Cisco Meraki switches, firewalls, and wireless access points preferred.

Compensation and benefits
Pay: USD $26.00 to $28.00 per hour.

Schedule, location, and work setup
- Location: Stockton, CA (onsite), with the position based in West Sacramento.
- Expected hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with light travel to Northern California sites.
- Work environment: primarily an indoor office environment with standard office equipment and facilities.
