IT Support Specialist II
Job Description
The Centre For Neuro Skills IT Support Specialist II role supports CNS users with both on-site and remote technical help, covering day-to-day device performance, application access, and account administration. You will also help keep IT resources organized by maintaining accurate equipment tracking and inventory records, while responding to technical needs in a customer-focused manner using a Solve for the Customer approach.
This position is based in Webster, TX and requires on-site presence. The pay range for the role is $29.42 - $45.52 an hour.
What you’ll do
- Provide customer service and technical support to onsite and remote employees using a Solve for the Customer (SFTC) approach.
- Work cooperatively with others and use situation de-escalation as needed to help individuals, teams, or work groups achieve goals.
- Triages, resolves, and escalates (when necessary) technical issues involving common business operational applications, client-specific applications, browser and driver problems, and common hardware including tablets, PC, MAC, keyboards, pointing devices, printers, and scanners.
- Support ancillary systems and devices such as conferencing systems and mobile devices.
- Administer user accounts, including system and hardware setup, lockout resolution, and software maintenance and upgrades.
- Maintain timely communication with users as part of day-to-day support, with an emphasis on customer service alongside technical skills.
- Maintain accurate IT equipment tracking documents and organization for IT inventory.
- Assist with installation, inventory, and maintenance of computers and related equipment used by CNS.
- Support the end-to-end IT experience of users.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or 4 years equivalent experience.
- Experience troubleshooting and supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11.
- Experience troubleshooting and supporting Microsoft Office Desktop Applications.
- Experience troubleshooting and supporting Office 365 Services.
- Experience troubleshooting and supporting client software installation.
- Experience troubleshooting and supporting network connectivity, including WiFi.
- CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ or equivalent certifications are desired.

Work schedule
- On-site in Webster, TX
- Monday-Friday from 7:30am-4:30pm
