Job Description

Junior IT Support Specialist - Help Desk T1 role at Intelligent Technologies Corp, onsite in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Responsibilities

  • Handle requests from multiple clients via the ticketing system and keep tickets up to date.
  • Provide Level 1 IT support, resolving common hardware, software, device connectivity, and Microsoft 365 issues.
  • Guide users through basic troubleshooting steps in a clear, professional manner.
  • Log and document all work performed on each support ticket with clarity.
  • Escalate unresolved or complex issues to the appropriate support level with complete information.
  • Monitor open tickets and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain professional, customer-focused communication with clients at all times.
  • Collaborate with teammates to resolve issues and improve support processes.
  • Continue developing technical skills while working with support tools, systems, and technologies.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 1–3 years of IT support or related roles; candidates with strong fundamentals will be considered.
  • On-call availability and ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends as needed.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
  • Willingness to perform fieldwork and travel to client sites as needed.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and work ethic.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to listen, understand, and guide users toward outcomes.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with users across varying levels of IT knowledge.
  • Strong customer service mindset and focus on user satisfaction.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn new tools and processes.
  • Demonstrated interest in emerging technologies and professional growth in IT.

Work Shift
