Part Sales & Technical Support Representative
Job Description
Support role providing technical and parts assistance to customers in the field service setting, including handling quotes, orders, invoices, freight, warranty claims, and in-person walk-in support, with on-call AOG coverage and occasional travel.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to customers and resolve product-related questions
- Log defect reports into the company software system
- Consult multiple data sources to support current and legacy products
- Assist walk-in customers with service needs
- Help customers identify and order parts using the company software
- Prepare and provide quotes
- Process orders
- Generate and track invoices
- Coordinate freight and shipping arrangements
- Process warranty claims and work toward resolution

Education, Experience and Credentials
- Two year trade or technical degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
- Experience with general aviation aircraft parts strongly preferred
- A&P license preferred
- Ability to obtain US passport and be willing to travel on occasion preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Self-motivated, fast learner, takes initiative and seeks out customer needs to meet them
- Moderate computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Internet; ability to learn Wipaire software and other applications
- Effective, proactive team player with flexibility to adjust priorities while maintaining a positive attitude
- Detail-oriented, accurate, organized, and skilled at time management to meet deadlines
- Strong customer service mindset, responsive to both internal and external stakeholders
- Clear English communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to follow instructions
- Ability to sit at a desk for extended periods and work at a computer
- Manual dexterity and visual acuity for keyboarding and use of office equipment
- Capability to stand and move around the office as needed
