Refrigeration Technical Support Specialist

EKS Thermal Systems is seeking a meticulous Refrigeration Technical Support Specialist to join our Caldwell, Idaho on-site team. This role provides expert guidance to customers, field technicians, and internal colleagues, diagnosing refrigeration system issues and delivering timely solutions to maintain optimal performance across commercial and industrial applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for refrigeration systems via phone, email, and remote tools
• Diagnose system issues including compressors, evaporators, condensers, controls, and refrigerants
• Assist field technicians with troubleshooting and repair procedures
• Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
• Document customer interactions, solutions, and recurring issues
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to resolve complex problems
• Support product training and technical documentation development
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in refrigeration, HVAC, or related technical field
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles and system components
• Experience with commercial or industrial refrigeration systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and service management software
