Store Technical Support

TAWA Services, Inc. is hiring Store Technical Support to keep retail technology running for store employees and customers across Northern California.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical support in person, by phone, and remotely for store staff
• Troubleshoot point-of-sale systems, payment terminals, printers, scanners, tablets, computers, and related store equipment
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving networks, Wi-Fi, software, account access, and device performance
• Set up, maintain, and replace store technology and peripheral devices
• Track support requests, document findings and resolutions, and escalate complex issues to the IT team or vendor when needed
• Coordinate with vendors, IT teams, and store leadership to reduce operational downtime
• Train employees on correct use of store systems and technology
• Maintain technology inventory, equipment records, and security procedures
• Travel to stores in other states to provide on-site support as required

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree is a plus
• 1–3 years in technical support, help desk, retail technology, or a related role preferred
• Working knowledge of computers, mobile devices, printers, networks, Wi-Fi, and troubleshooting approaches
• Familiarity with the LOC SMS point-of-sale system preferred
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize and respond in a fast-paced retail environment
• Ability to work overtime, including after hours, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Willingness to travel to other states for on-site assistance
• Ability to lift and move technology equipment up to 40 pounds

• Travel: 15% ~ 25%
• Schedule Availability: weekends and holidays as necessary

Compensation

• $26.00 per hour
