Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate a network of simulators and modeling capabilities that enable rehearsal and exercise for diverse units
• Manage the network, sustain an Authority to Operate (ATO), and enhance system design and architecture
• Provide Tier 1 through Tier 3 troubleshooting during operations
• Install hardware and manage lifecycle activities
• Coordinate software releases, deployments, new features, and innovation initiatives
• Perform daily operational checks for local air and ground simulation systems and multiple outstation systems
• Execute preventative maintenance on simulators and related systems
• Support training in live, virtual, and constructive environments
• Develop configuration management processes to keep geographically distributed systems up to date with current training requirements
• Operate the virtual environment to enable large-scale training exercises
• Identify and track deficiencies to improve system functionality
• Build and install new simulators and networks
• Work on an Agile Scrum team with daily communication
• Troubleshoot effectively and remain adaptable to day-to-day tasks
• Recognize growth opportunities within the program and contribute to innovation in simulation systems

Requirements

• Experience working on complex networked distributed systems
• Experience with Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems
• Experience supporting and collaborating with DoD operational personnel
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with basic network and operating systems
• Ability to create technical documentation
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of experience with Tier 1 Level Technical Support, or 5+ years of experience with Tier 1 Level Technical Support in lieu of a degree
• Security+ Certification

Compensation

The projected salary range for this role is USD 69,400 to USD 158,000 per year, with final compensation determined by location, education, experience, skills, and program-specific requirements. This range represents typical pay within Booz Allen and is one component of total compensation.

Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. TS/SCI clearance is required for this position.
