Remote Technical Support Engineer role within the United States supporting Eaton’s ES AMER NAS division.

Provide technical assistance for Eaton’s digital products
Develop, modify, and troubleshoot digital products
Handle configuration requests and support end-to-end product usability, including:
- GUI navigation
- Password issues
- Alarm management
- Basic product functionality
Identify issues related to software and products and route to the appropriate internal and external support resources
Manage daily customer activity across phone, chat, and email
Communicate product value proposition and product line strategies
Recommend product enhancements based on support learnings
Contribute to the development and maintenance of product support resources
Participate in team efforts to improve performance and drive process improvement

Associate’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
Minimum 1 year of residential wiring and electricity experience
Ability to clearly document key learnings into Knowledgebase articles and references for internal and external use
Hardware troubleshooting skills, including basic understanding of electricity and residential wiring
Troubleshooting skills for web browsers and mobile apps
Ability to use development tools to determine server issues or client issues
Communication skills

Customer service skills
Ability to work effectively with people across multiple functions
Organized and detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Exceptional listening skills and self-motivation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
