Job Description

The Technical Support Representative role at Leviton Manufacturing is based onsite in Bothell, WA and handles technical inquiries from internal and external customers across phone, email, and live chat while recommending solutions and contributing to product and process improvements under moderate supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Handle technical inquiries on Leviton product lines through phone, email, live chat, and web channels, delivering clear information and solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve installation problems described by customers and escalate to relevant teams such as marketing, sales, product management, engineering, or quality assurance as needed.
  • Ensure timely responses to technical questions from field sales, customer service, distributors, homeowners, contractors, specifiers, architects, and others, covering product information, specifications, and applications for new and existing products.
  • Assist with competitive cross-reference requests when required.
  • Assist in specifying Leviton products by answering installation or usage questions tailored to customer needs.
  • Support the quality program by vetting customer concerns and submitting quality concern tickets as needed.
  • Collaborate with management by providing feedback on product, training needs, and departmental improvements to boost efficiency.

Requirements

  • Motivated to develop creative solutions that improve processes and the customer experience.
  • Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrates ownership and sound judgment in analyzing issues and recommending solutions.
  • Ability to work under general supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarize complex topics clearly.
  • Effective collaboration with coworkers, internal and external customers, and key stakeholders.
  • Education: a four-year undergraduate degree or an associate degree is preferred.
  • Experience: minimum of 1 year in a related role.

Salary

USD 48,000 - 55,000 per year
