Responsibilities
- Respond to and resolve HelpDesk tickets and client calls in a timely manner
- Provide on-site and remote support for retail POS and related technology systems
- Install, configure, and upgrade hardware and software at client locations
- Document all work thoroughly and communicate clearly with clients and teammates
- Travel to client sites as needed, with positions available in San Diego and some travel outside the area
Requirements
- Extensive experience with all versions of Windows desktops
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Office 365
- Experience using a PSA or ticketing platform (Halo, ConnectWise, Autotask, or similar) for logging, tracking, and managing support requests
- Ability to quickly learn new software and hardware systems
- Ability to work effectively both within a team and independently
- Knowledge and experience with networking tools and tasks
- Network printer setup and configuration experience
- Strong time management skills and a consistent track record of meeting deadlines
- Punctual with a positive attitude
- Willing to go the extra mile to satisfy the client and support the team

Availability, Location & Schedule
This role is primarily remote, with about 70% of work conducted from home. On-site visits for client support and installation projects are a regular part of the role, so candidates should be located in or near the primary markets of Southern California, Las Vegas, Arizona, or Washington. Occasional travel outside the home market is required and fully covered by the company. A strong attention to detail and thorough documentation of work are expected.
Education & Experience
- Associate degree (Preferred)
- Retail POS Technologies: 1 year (Required)
- Face to face Retail IT Support: 1 year (Required)

Compensation & Hours
Pay rate: $25.00β$40.00 per hour. Expected hours: 30β40 per week.
