Job Description

This full-time Retail POS Tech Support role is based in Yuma, AZ with remote work options and provides on-site and remote assistance for retail POS systems, including hardware and software installation and networking. Travel to client sites across Southern California, Las Vegas, Arizona, and Washington is required, with approximately 70 percent of work conducted remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to HelpDesk tickets and client calls in a timely manner
  • Provide on-site and remote support for retail POS and related technology systems
  • Install, configure, and upgrade hardware and software at client locations
  • Document all work thoroughly and communicate clearly with clients and teammates
  • Travel to client sites as needed, with openings in San Diego and occasional travel outside the area

Requirements

  • Extensive experience with Windows desktops (all versions)
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Office 365
  • Experience using PSA or ticketing platforms (Halo, ConnectWise, Autotask, or similar) for logging, tracking, and managing support requests
  • Aptitude to quickly learn new software and hardware systems
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Knowledge of networking tools and tasks
  • Experience setting up and configuring network printers
  • Strong time management skills and a proven track record of meeting deadlines
  • Punctual and maintains a positive attitude
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction and supporting the team

Availability & Requirements

Primarily a remote position, with roughly 70 percent of work performed from home. Onsite visits for client support and install projects are a regular part of the role, so candidates should be located in or near the primary markets of Southern California, Las Vegas, Arizona, or Washington. Travel outside the home market is occasionally required and is fully covered by the company. The role requires a high level of attention to detail and thorough logging of work.

Education

Associate degree preferred.
