The Digital Technical Support Engineer supports identification, investigation, monitoring, and resolution of customer issues across Construction Industries products, onboard new offerings, and maintain escalation paths and product knowledge to help customers succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for technical tasks related to business processes and applications
  • Assist in gathering and analyzing business requirements and identifying technical gaps
  • Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution
  • Adhere to defined processes for risk assessment, corrective actions, and quality checks
  • Share customer feedback with internal teams to drive product and service improvements
  • Support onboarding of new products into Construction Industries Helpline
  • Stay current on product updates, releases, and system changes to ensure effective support coverage
  • Develop and maintain healthy working relationships with partner technical support personnel and serve as the primary escalation point for technical issues

  • Experience with documentation and knowledge sharing

  • Familiarity with Cat Command, Product Link, VisionLink, and technical knowledge of Cat machines, engines, and generators
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand machine systems, components, and operational behavior (preferred)
