Entry-Level IT Support Associate
Job Description
Qureos Inc offers a remote Entry-Level IT Support Associate role based in Los Angeles, CA. The position provides a $20-$30 per hour wage and focuses on first-line IT support, workstation setup, user account management, and documentation, with opportunities to assist IT projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support to team members via the ticketing system, email, and chat.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of employee workstations and software applications.
- Manage user accounts across various systems, including creation, modification, and password resets.
- Escalate complex technical problems to senior IT staff when necessary, providing detailed information for resolution.
- Create and maintain clear and concise documentation for technical procedures, user guides, and the internal knowledge base.
- Support the implementation of new technologies and IT projects as required.
Requirements
- A strong passion for technology and a keen interest in technical problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
- A foundational understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems and common office software.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
- A proactive and customer-service oriented approach to all tasks.
- Previous experience in an IT support role or relevant certifications (such as CompTIA A+) are advantageous but not essential for candidates who can demonstrate the right aptitude and a willingness to learn.
