Job Description

The Help Desk Engineer role provides remote and on-site IT support to keep client technology running smoothly, with a focus on Windows operating systems and user applications.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot Windows desktop and server operating systems, hardware, peripherals, and applications.
  • Install, configure, and support client desktops, laptops, devices, peripherals, and core infrastructure components.
  • Deliver responsive customer service by owning issues from initial report to final resolution, whether remote or on-site.
  • Maintain professional communication with clients to ensure they feel supported and confident in the solutions provided.

Requirements

  • Clear verbal and written communication to explain technical concepts effectively.

  • Reliable transportation for occasional travel to client sites as required.

  • Hands-on experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows operating systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office application support.
  • Proven experience troubleshooting and supporting hardware including desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
