Helpdesk Computer Technician in Education

What you’ll do

In this position, you’ll provide hands-on tech support for education technology needs at school locations. Day-to-day tasks include repairing computers and helping set up devices so they’re ready for classroom use.

• Computer repair and troubleshooting
• MDM tablet management
• Printer setup
• Software setup
• Chromebook setup and management

You will travel to multiple school locations using a company vehicle to support district technology needs.

What you bring

• Active Minnesota Driver’s License
• Driver’s license check
• Must complete pre-employment background check
• IT experience preferred, but not required
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Time management skills
• Ability to work with limited supervision
• Physical ability to lift 10 lbs consistently and up to 40 lbs frequently
• Ability to perform some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of up to 40 lbs
• Ability to kneel, crouch, and crawl to perform certain tasks
• Capability of sitting and/or standing for long periods of time
• Comfort communicating with students, parents, co-workers, supervisors, and the community in a positive and responsive way
