HVAC – Technical Support/Service Representative

An experienced HVAC professional is needed to serve as Technical Support Representative, delivering post-sale technical guidance and troubleshooting to installing contractors while supporting internal sales and support teams. This onsite position is based in Massachusetts and offers a salary of USD 90,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-sale technical support and troubleshooting assistance to installing contractors via phone, email, and in person.
• Support internal sales and support teams with technical expertise and guidance.
• Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and manufacturer specifications.
• Document support calls for internal reference and escalate to manufacturers as needed.
• Assist with warranty claims and return processes, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution.
• Perform routine maintenance, HVAC renovations, and service across PSC facilities.
• Contribute to profitability through the implementation of the scratch and dent program.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service in all interactions.

Requirements

• HVAC certification and current state licensure.
• Minimum 10+ years of hands-on HVAC installation, service, and troubleshooting experience.
• Strong understanding of HVAC equipment, controls, and refrigeration systems.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
• Customer-focused mindset with a desire to help contractors succeed.
• Must be able to climb ladders and stairs to provide on-site support on roofs and basements as needed.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications.
• Valid driver’s license (clean driving record) and ability to travel locally is required.
