HVAC Technical Support Specialist

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive inside support for customers and internal teams, handling administrative tasks and service coordination
• Provide internal technical guidance for Gensco equipment, covering installation, service, and repair considerations
• Offer technical training to customers and Gensco team members and share relevant factory information as needed

Requirements

• A two-year technical studies degree or equivalent work experience is preferred
• Minimum five years of related HVAC experience and strong industry knowledge preferred
• Proven ability to manage details and meet deadlines with high accuracy in multitasking environments
• Customer-service mindset with prompt responsiveness
• High attention to detail with strong time management and organizational skills
• Self-motivated, proactive, with the ability to recognize issues and resolve or escalate appropriately
• Strong presentation skills and excellent written and verbal communication
• Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of adjusting formal versus informal approaches, able to set boundaries politely
• Tact and diplomacy in sensitive situations
• Proficient with personal computers, calculators, and office equipment; skilled in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work seated or standing and move freely throughout the facility
• Frequent lifting and carrying of equipment and supplies
• Willingness to travel as required
