Job Description

Entry-level in-home sales and tech support role onsite in Albuquerque, NM, with local field travel focused on serving, solving, and selling Asurion products.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers on the front lines using the Serve, Solve, Sell™ approach.
  • Complete paid training to prepare for independent field work.
  • Build product knowledge and gain hands-on sales experience while developing communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Receive ongoing coaching and mentoring to support growth and maintain confidence and tech savviness.
  • Apply the Serve, Solve, Sell model in the field during in-home, in-office, or on-site visits.
  • Meet customers in their homes or preferred locations; interactions are pre-scheduled to help you reach and exceed sales targets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout every interaction, always prioritizing the customer.
  • Address and resolve technical issues with clear, understandable solutions for customers of all tech levels.
  • Ensure customers leave with a workable resolution and a product that addresses future tech needs.
  • Leverage Asurion’s product range to offer tailored solutions to customers.
  • Listen actively to uncover needs and position products to meet those needs.
  • Utilize strong negotiation and communication skills to pivot smoothly and close the right sale.

Requirements

  • Comfortable in a sales environment with defined targets.
  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record with at least 1 year of driving experience.
  • Ability to provide proof of valid car insurance (Manhattan excluded).
  • Personal vehicle (no motorcycles); appointments are in neighborhoods and cities around the inventory warehouse, with a maximum one-way travel distance of 120 miles.
  • Flexible 5-day workweek to meet customers on their timeline, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Personal cellphone to stay connected on the job.
  • Comfortable working around household pets.
  • Efficient, adaptable, goal-oriented, and persuasive communication skills.
  • Open-minded with a passion for learning a broad range of skills applicable to various career paths.
  • Naturally outgoing and thrives in human interaction.
  • Note: Hours may vary based on business needs and market demand; flexibility may be required.

Benefits

  • Base hourly rate guaranteed for all hours worked, paid bi-weekly, with earned pay available early.
  • Uncapped commissions based on sales performance, paid bi-weekly.
  • Mileage reimbursement according to IRS guidelines, paid weekly.
  • Monthly phone stipend of $35.
  • 3 to 4 weeks of paid training with a focus on your success.

Pay Rate

  • 19.00 USD per hour plus mileage reimbursement, phone stipend, and sales commission.

Full-Time Schedule

  • Five days per week, hours from 12:05 pm to 9:00 pm.
