Job Description

Amazon Operations facilities rely on responsive IT support to keep teams productive across multiple buildings and to assist customers both onsite and remotely. In this IT Support Associate II role in White, GA, you will resolve technical issues across different disciplines, maintain and troubleshoot equipment, and support day-to-day operations for a defined geographic area.

What you’ll do

  • Allocate, maintain, and troubleshoot IT equipment used in Amazon Operations facilities.
  • Handle support requests and follow defined support procedures across the network.
  • Assist with training new hires.
  • Continue learning new technologies to stay current with evolving environments.
  • Support customers from multiple buildings in the area, as well as remote customers.
  • Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 49 lbs, standing and walking during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching.
  • Travel within your local or regional area to support customers.

Requirements

  • Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems.
  • Experience working in a dynamic environment with a high degree of customer service.
  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
  • 1+ years of Windows, Mac, or Linux operating systems support experience or equivalent experience.

Compensation

  • USA, GA, White: 23.50 - 37.74 USD hourly
  • Final starting pay will be based on experience, qualifications, and location.

Preferred qualifications

  • CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware (installation), AWS, or other industry-relevant certifications.
