Job Description

Amazon is hiring an IT Support Associate II to support technical problem resolution for an Amazon Operations facility in San Diego, CA. In this onsite role, you will help keep IT equipment running across multiple technical disciplines, handle support requests, and assist customers both on-site and remotely.

What you’ll do

  • Allocate, maintain, and troubleshoot IT equipment used in Amazon Operations facilities
  • Handle support requests and follow support procedures across the network
  • Assist with training new hires
  • Continue learning new technologies to support ongoing operations
  • Support customers across multiple buildings in the area, as well as remote customers
  • Perform physical job duties including lifting up to 49 lbs, and standing and walking for 10 to 12 hours at a time, with or without reasonable accommodation

Requirements

  • Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems
  • Experience working in a dynamic environment with a high degree of customer service
  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
  • 1+ years of Windows, Mac, or Linux operating system support experience, or equivalent experience

Compensation: USD 23 - 37 per hour. Experience: 1+ years. Work setup: Onsite.
