Location: Everett, WA (onsite). Compensation: USD 36 - 43 per hour. Experience required: 5+ years.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the escalation point for complex issues across endpoints, servers, and infrastructure
- Diagnose and resolve problems with Windows operating systems, applications, and enterprise endpoints
- Troubleshoot Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint
- Address identity and access matters involving Entra ID and Active Directory
- Perform root-cause analysis and implement durable, long-term solutions
- Provide remote and on-site support for corporate and production environments
- Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure: switches, VLANs, routing, segmentation
- Manage wired and wireless networks, firewall configuration, and monitoring
- Diagnose performance issues, latency, outages, and connectivity problems
- Support hybrid infrastructure spanning on-prem data centers and Azure cloud networking
- Assist with network design improvements and optimization
- Support Windows Server and Linux systems, including Hyper-V environments
- Handle system provisioning, patching, and lifecycle management; monitor server performance
- Assist with infrastructure upgrades and migrations
- Administer Microsoft 365 tenant services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint)
- Administer Azure services (compute, networking, identity, RBAC)
- Administer Microsoft Intune for device enrollment, policies, compliance, and endpoint security
- Troubleshoot identity synchronization and access issues; support conditional access, MFA, and device compliance
- Enforce security best practices: endpoint protection, firewall rules, vulnerability management
- Monitor for security threats and participate in incident response and remediation
- Ensure adherence to security policies and standards across the environment
- Manage and support backup platforms (e.g., Veeam, cloud backups); perform backup validation and restore testing
- Support disaster recovery procedures and failover scenarios; maintain data integrity
- Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell preferred); seek opportunities to reduce manual effort
- Leverage AI tools to enhance IT operations and contribute to standardization and documentation
- Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps
- Contribute to internal knowledge base and standard operating procedures
- Assist with IT projects including ERP, infrastructure upgrades, and cloud migrations
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and leadership; provide input on system design and architecture decisions
Requirements
- Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VLANs, switching, WiFi, firewalls)
- Experience with Windows Server and desktop environments
- Virtualization experience; Hyper-V preferred
- Microsoft 365 administration experience
- Azure cloud services familiarity
- Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Management experience
- Experience with backup and recovery solutions
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices

Experience
- 5+ years in IT support, infrastructure, or systems administration
- Proven track record troubleshooting complex, multi-system issues
- Experience in hybrid environments (on-prem and cloud)
Preferred qualifications
- Microsoft certifications (Azure, M365, Security) preferred but not required
- Networking certifications (CCNA or equivalent) preferred but not required
- PowerShell scripting and automation experience
- Security tooling experience (Defender, SIEM, endpoint protection)
- ERP familiarity (Epicor or Kinetic)
- Exposure to manufacturing or production environments
Schedule and compensation
Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This is a full-time role with a pay range of $36.00 - $43.25 per hour.
