IT Support Specialist - PERM
Job Description
The IT Support Specialist role supports a manufacturing and industrial environment by delivering Tier 1 and Tier 2 hardware, software, and networking assistance, with emphasis on Microsoft Azure Active Directory, cloud services, and cybersecurity.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for hardware, software, and networking; troubleshoot complex system issues to sustain peak operational efficiency.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies within Microsoft Azure Active Directory and other cloud environments.
- Monitor system performance, apply security patches, manage backups, and configure networking equipment such as VPNs, switches, and wireless access points.
Requirements
- Positive, can-do attitude.
- Associate or Bachelor degree in IT/Computer Science (or equivalent experience) with 1-3 years in systems administration or technical support.
- Strong proficiency in Windows OS, Active Directory, and networking fundamentals, with a focus on cybersecurity and endpoint management.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide technical guidance and training to end users on new software and equipment.
