IT Support Technician II
Job Description
On site contract role for an IT Support Technician II located in Englewood, Colorado, focused on Tier II end-user support in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Tier II assistance for desktops, laptops, software, and peripheral devices.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows workstations and related equipment.
- Identify and resolve hardware, software, networking, VPN, and connectivity issues.
- Assist with printers, video conferencing equipment, RSA authentication, and other end-user technologies.
- Help troubleshoot network devices and provide basic infrastructure support.
- Respond to technical support requests with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Assess user technology needs and recommend suitable hardware and software solutions.
- Document issues, resolutions, and configuration changes for future reference.
- Collaborate with IT teammates to share knowledge and improve support processes.
- Ensure adherence to company IT policies, security standards, and best practices.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field with at least 2 years of IT support experience
- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered
- Strong customer service mindset focused on delivering high quality technical support
- Excellent troubleshooting skills across desktop hardware and software
- Experience with Windows operating systems
- Familiarity with computer hardware and peripherals
- Printers and print services experience
- Solid understanding of network connectivity
- Knowledge of VPN technologies
- Experience with RSA authentication
- Experience with Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to translate user needs into effective technical solutions
- Team oriented with a collaborative approach and willingness to share knowledge
