IT Support Technician III (Shift Rotations)

Jabil Circuit is seeking an experienced IT Support Technician III to deliver hands-on technical support for end users across PC, server, hardware, and software environments. This role supports the Memphis, TN area and includes onsite coverage for startup and early production ramp activities in Byhalia, MS, with rotating shifts tied to factory readiness.

In this position, you will help keep service delivery on track by managing service desk queues, responding to incident requests, and supporting IT bring-up activities as systems come online in evolving environments.

What you’ll do

• Load, verify, and support software packages
• Troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues across standard IT applications
• Install and configure PCs and peripherals, including PC imaging
• Support incident management requests at the site level and resolve tickets in a timely manner
• Maintain Knowledge Database and Configuration Management Database entries where applicable
• Monitor Service Desk queues with emphasis on SLA and KPI adherence
• Troubleshoot basic scanner issues related to MES / SAP RF
• Provide phone-based or remote support for offsite users
• Purchase software and hardware through the PO process
• Administer user accounts using Active Directory
• Support mobile device enrollment, configuration, and basic troubleshooting for corporate smartphones and tablets
• Provide maintenance and support for Audio/Visual equipment
• Install, identify, and repair hardware and peripheral components
• Simulate or recreate user issues to resolve operating difficulties
• Maintain inventory of computer parts and logs of repairs
• Provide training and technical assistance to users
• Support IT infrastructure and end-user readiness during factory build, commissioning, and early production ramp
• Support initial deployment of IT equipment, including workstations, printers, scanners, and shared devices across office and manufacturing floor environments
• Operate effectively in a startup environment with incomplete documentation and shifting priorities
• Work hands-on across factory, warehouse, and construction-adjacent environments as systems and work areas are brought online
• Support non-standard schedules, including extended hours or weekends, during critical startup and production milestones
• Partner with IT leadership, facilities, manufacturing engineering, and external vendors to resolve issues that impact startup timelines
• Identify gaps, risks, or recurring issues during ramp and proactively escalate or propose improvements
• Contribute to department information-sharing and participate in team idea exchange
• Ask questions, encourage input, and provide regular updates to appropriate managers
• Identify opportunities to reduce cost and improve efficiency through continuous improvement using trends and metrics
• Ensure procedures and work instructions are efficient and not redundant
• Demonstrate strong customer service with a sense of urgency
• Maintain discretion and confidentiality of IT systems and data
• Follow corporate, regional, and site security, safety, and health policies

Requirements

• High School diploma
• 10+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education

Location and shifts

• On-site at Jabil facilities in Memphis, TN and Byhalia, TN
• Rotational flexibility to work 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Weekend shifts
