Job Description
Responsibilities
- Performs full range of on-site maintenance and repairs on a variety of IT equipment, including technical diagnostics, break/fix, installation, configuration, removal, and cafe/staff call assistance.
- Provides technical support for Office IT infrastructure and equipment such as laptops, printers, cameras, music equipment, tablets, fax machines, IT services, telephones, routers, firewalls, broadband lines, and Wi-Fi access points.
- Coordinates activities with help desk, network services, or other information systems groups.
- Manages territory, inventory and time, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and delivering cost-effective services.
- Demonstrates measurable progress in technical abilities, troubleshooting techniques, and productivity.
- Maintains and manages tool kit, supplies, and accurate inventory for the territory.
- Maintains a trunk stock inventory valued at over $1000 and ensures accurate, timely completion of call summaries, time sheets, and work logs.
- Provides help desk support for location equipment, working closely with the help desk and delivering updates on status and completion to managers and users.
- Supports senior staff in all systems functions for location management and assists the IT Manager with projects as necessary.
- Installs IT infrastructure and equipment at new locations, including remodels and new builds, with some installations potentially occurring overnight.
- Follows Hamra Enterprises LLC policies and procedures in daily operations.
Requirements
- Associates degree with at least 2 years of similar experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a company-provided car.
- Ability to travel locally on a daily basis to various locations.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize activities and schedules for effective results.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, construction plans, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to work independently at multiple locations.
- Proficiency in writing routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to report issue status to multiple levels within the organization promptly and accurately.
- Capability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Professional appearance and demeanor, and the ability to work well with fellow employees at all times.
