Job Description

On-site IT support for Panera locations in Schaumburg, IL, at USD 23 per hour, with eligibility for a company car after 90 days.

Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site diagnostics, repair, installation, configuration, removal, and cafe/staff support for a diverse range of IT equipment.
  • Provide technical support for office IT infrastructure and devices including laptops, printers, cameras, audio gear, tablets, fax machines, phones, routers, firewalls, broadband lines, and Wi-Fi access points.
  • Coordinate tasks with the help desk, network services, and other IT teams to align effort.
  • Oversee the assigned territory, inventory, and scheduling while maintaining high customer satisfaction and cost-efficient service delivery.
  • Demonstrate measurable growth in technical capabilities, troubleshooting methods, and productivity.
  • Maintain and manage the toolkit, supplies, and accurate inventory for the territory.
  • Maintain a trunk stock inventory valued above $1,000.
  • Complete call summaries, timesheets, and work logs accurately and promptly.
  • Deliver on-site help desk support for the location's equipment in close collaboration with the help desk.
  • Provide updates and completion status to the manager, the problem request tracking system, and users as needed.
  • Support senior staff with all systems functions required for location management.
  • Assist the IT Manager with projects as necessary.
  • Install IT infrastructure and equipment at new sites and remodels, with some installations potentially overnight.
  • Follow Hamra Enterprises LLC policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Associate degree with at least two years of related experience, or a bachelor’s degree in an IT related field.
  • Valid driver’s license; company-provided vehicle available.
  • Ability to travel locally on a daily basis to multiple locations.
  • Strong daily time management and the ability to prioritize activities to achieve effective results.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals, construction plans, and procedure documents.
  • Capability to work independently at various locations.
  • Skill in writing routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to report issue status promptly and accurately to multiple levels within the organization.
  • Ability to apply common sense to carry out written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions.
  • Professional demeanor and the ability to work well with colleagues at all times.
