Tech Support / Network Installer (Some Travel)
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a field team to pull and terminate Cat6 cabling for network backbone installations
- Deploy routers, switches, firewalls, and access points to build functional IT networks atop the installed cabling
- Travel pattern typically involves about one week on installations and travel for every two weeks on local work
- Must have experience with Cat5e/Cat6 cabling technologies and RJ45 termination
- Require a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Role rotates weekly between installation tasks and technical support duties
- Technical Support Specialist duties include assisting our nationwide client base by resolving network issues
- This position operates within an inbound call center for managed LAN, WAN, and Wireless services
- Primary equipment includes Ubiquiti gear, with additional deployments from Ruckus, Cisco, and Meraki
- Work primarily with network devices such as routers, switches, wireless access points, and firewalls, plus end user equipment like PCs, printers, POS systems, and security cameras
Requirements
- Cabling experience: 1 year (Required)
- Field service experience in cables, internet, and satellite contexts: 1 year (Preferred)
- Experience with Cat5e/Cat6 cabling technologies and RJ45 termination is a must
- Must hold a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation

WIFI INSTALLER
- Part of a team that installs and terminates Cat6 cabling

- Primary equipment is Ubiquiti, with deployments from Ruckus, Cisco, and Meraki as well
- Work primarily with network equipment such as routers, switches, wireless access points, and firewalls, plus end user devices like PCs, printers, POS systems, and security cameras
