Job Description

This on-site role in Cleveland, OH offers a salary range of USD 47,000 to 55,000 per year. You will provide technical assistance and support to FIT Technologies clients, overseeing, monitoring, and maintaining their environments onsite or remotely through day-to-day tasks and routine maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and team members
  • Perform software and hardware upgrades
  • Install, maintain, and repair desktop hardware, network equipment, and PC peripherals
  • Maintain daily service calls and meet SLA expectations based on client needs
  • Provide detailed progress updates in a timely and accurate manner
  • Conduct routine maintenance in line with company and vendor standards
  • Ensure physical cabling infrastructure meets established standards
  • Participate in equipment liquidations

Requirements

  • Display a professional, reliable, trustworthy, and positive demeanor
  • Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues, documenting steps taken in the internal ticketing system
  • Ability to clearly relay technical information to clients with varying levels of knowledge
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and task follow-through
  • Understanding of Microsoft Windows versions, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Group Policy
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, addressing, and VLANs
  • Familiarity with network-based PC operating system deployment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
  • Certifications such as A+, Network+, MTA, MCSA are desirable
  • Ability to work in an evolving-priority environment and follow processes and protocols
  • Capability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Commitment to ensuring cabling meets standards
  • Willingness to learn new software tools, including asset tracking and ticketing systems

Working Conditions and Location

  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and valid vehicle insurance
  • Local travel and occasional travel to other parts of Ohio or out of state
  • Occasional evening and weekend work may be required
  • Must be able to lift or carry up to 50 pounds
  • May require weeks that exceed 40 hours
  • Ability to commute to Cleveland, OH 44143 (Preferred)
  • Ability to relocate to Cleveland, OH 44143 before starting work (Preferred)
