Automation & Technical Support Technician

The Automation and Technical Support Technician supports reliable operations by troubleshooting PC systems, assisting with dispensing equipment and automation diagnostics, and delivering remote and on-site training for technical users. This onsite role is based in Cleveland, OH.

Role Summary

In this position, you will manage and troubleshoot PC hardware and software, support dispensing equipment systems, and provide training using remote and on-site methods. The role also includes assistance with automation diagnostics and warehouse-related activities when needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage, troubleshoot, and maintain PC hardware, software, and licensing.
• Maintain system documentation, specifications, and technical drawings.
• Provide remote technical support via phone and online tools.
• Train field technicians and customers on system installation, operation, and troubleshooting.
• Assist with automation, electrical, pneumatic, and control-system diagnostics.
• Support General Assembly and Inventory and Logistic activities as needed.
• Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Additional certificate training in areas related to the responsibilities is a plus.
• Knowledge of Windows-based PCs & Networks, or related experience.
• Knowledge of industrial automation, electrical, and pneumatic systems, or related experience.
• Knowledge of hand, power, and measuring tools, or related experience.
• Mechanical knowledge, or related experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and technical language typically found in equipment manuals.
