Desktop Support Specialist
Job Description
Onsite desktop support role in Draper, UT, delivering end-user hardware and software support for approximately 3,000 users across three offices, with emphasis on break/fix, AV/Crestron rooms, and enterprise Windows environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on desktop and hardware support, including break/fix, workstation setup and teardown, shipping equipment to users, and maintaining inventory.
- Assist with Windows environments and the Microsoft 365 suite.
- Support AV and video conferencing spaces using Crestron software.
- Record and track issues using the ServiceNow ticketing system.
- Deliver on-site coverage five days per week as part of a three-technician team serving about 3,000 end users across three Salt Lake City area offices.
- Address break/fix tasks and event planning while handling ad-hoc end-user requests.
- Support a broad range of end-user technologies including desktops, printers, laptops, connectivity, AV gear, and conference rooms.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of desktop support experience within an enterprise environment.
- Proficiency with Windows operating systems and the Microsoft Suite.
- Extensive hardware-focused experience, including break/fix, workstation setup and teardown, equipment shipping, and inventory management.
- Experience supporting AV or video conference rooms with Crestron software.
- Experience using the ServiceNow ticketing system.
