Electrical Technical Support Engineer

Based in Louisville, Kentucky, Ingenium Talent is seeking an Electrical Technical Support Engineer to maintain and optimize electrical and mechanical systems on crushing and screening equipment. This hybrid, hourly role focuses on diagnosing malfunctions, delivering aftermarket support, and collaborating with customers, dealers, and internal teams to keep equipment performing at peak efficiency. The position offers overtime eligibility, two additional bonus structures, and a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical issues on crushing and screening equipment through technical helpdesk or field support
• Provide aftermarket support, including upgrades and troubleshooting for customers and dealers across all MP product lines
• Contribute to research and development of new equipment and technologies
• Support manufacturing operations with electrical expertise
• Adhere to engineering protocols for ECOs, ECRs, and related documentation
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electrical schematics
• Assist in training internal personnel on electrical systems and procedures
• Collaborate with subcontractors and utility providers during installation of stationary and mobile systems
• Partner with external vendors to develop control systems and configure component settings
• Oversee in-house electronics and panel assembly processes
• Promote and enforce safety standards, including proper use of PPE and reporting unsafe conditions
• Travel domestically and internationally to perform on-site diagnostics and service

Requirements

• Proven time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
• Associate’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
• 1–3 years of experience in electrical design
• 1–3 years of PLC programming experience (Allen Bradley preferred)
