Help Desk Specialist IV (Contract to Hire)

On-site contract-to-hire Help Desk Specialist IV in Poway, CA, focusing on Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and LAN and network support.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical support for Microsoft Windows desktop and server operating systems.
• Provide assistance for Microsoft 365 services and configurations.
• Work with local area network technologies to maintain connectivity and performance.
• Troubleshoot core networking services including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Understand and manage network switches and VLANs.

Requirements

• 100 percent onsite work in Poway, CA
• 3 to 6 month contract-to-hire engagement
• No C2C candidates accepted
• Pay rate targeted at $40 to $45 per hour on W2
• Strong foundation in Microsoft operating systems across desktop and server environments
• Experience with Microsoft 365
• Proficiency with LAN technologies
• Ability to troubleshoot TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
• Understanding of network switches and VLANs
• Ability to ramp up quickly with minimal onboarding requirements
