Job Description
An IT Help Desk Technician role based in San Angelo supports a major steel fabrication operation. You will handle computer setup and deployment, troubleshoot VPNs, printers, network drives, and software, and oversee cybersecurity management, with hands on assistance across remote sites, on-site deskside support, and factory-floor environments.
Responsibilities
- Computer setup and deployment
- Troubleshooting and setup for VPNs
- Printer configuration and maintenance
- Management of network drives
- Support for various software applications
- Cybersecurity management
- Remote support to sites around the country
- On-site or desk-side support
- Troubleshooting of networked devices and equipment on the factory floor
Requirements
- Familiarity with Active Directory (preferred)
- Familiarity with service management software (preferred)
- Familiarity with knowledge base management (preferred)
