Job Description

The Behavioral Wellness Center at Girard is seeking an IT Help Desk Technician to serve as the frontline support contact for staff on site in Philadelphia. This role focuses on diagnosing and resolving issues across desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, software, and networks while maintaining secure, compliant IT operations within a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the initial contact for staff IT assistance via phone, email, and the ticketing system
  • Diagnose and fix issues across desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, software, and network connectivity
  • Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain computer hardware and peripheral devices
  • Provide support for Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications
  • Manage Active Directory user accounts, passwords, and access permissions
  • Prepare user workstations and deploy new equipment
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when needed
  • Record incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the ticketing system
  • Keep accurate asset and inventory records up to date
  • Ensure adherence to cybersecurity standards and internal IT policies
  • Support software deployments, updates, and ongoing system maintenance
  • Provide strong customer service while assisting clinical and administrative staff
  • Explain technical information clearly to users with varying levels of technical knowledge
  • Prioritize multiple support requests in a fast-paced setting
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Experience in IT Help Desk, Desktop Support, Technical Support, or Information Technology is required
